2025 Daily Training Routine

2025 Summary 

  • Year #5 of my athletic/sporting activities experiment…and still within the limits of my body’s capabilities.  

  • 12 new activities incorporated into 2025’s monthly sporting activities rotation…with additional “Insights”.  

  • Ice Skating passion/time carried over from 2024 (68hrs over 66days) into 2025 (113hrs over 100days). 

  • Another 365days of daily Qi Gong (added to last year’s 366day tally)...and still stayed injury free. 

  • 0 days missed in 2025! 

Running Tally = #1822days out of 1826 Days 

Ps: More data from 2025 continues to support the “Training-Injury Prevention Paradox Model” (see 2023 post). 

  • 2025’s Training Load Total [757hrs | 45,430min] vs 

  • 2024’s Training Load Total [713hrs | 42,780min] vs  

  • 2023’s Training Load Total [503hrs | 30,155min] 

  • ...and despite the substantially higher training loads, felt stronger and stayed injury free.
